This minimal house perches on a rocky site,1550 feet high in the Berkshires. It commands a 70 mile view of the Hudson Valley and Catskill Mountains from large glass windows on the southwest wall. The house is sheathed in tongue and groove cedar, painted bright white. Small balconies and a cantilevered entry deck feature tubular steel rails.
